Dear CAMI/M3 community,
We enthusiastically invite you to attend you a joint CAMI (Critical Assessment of Metagenomic Interpretation) and Spring 2017 M3 (Mid-Atlantic Microbiome Meetup) workshop. The overarching theme of this workshop will be assessment and standards for metagenome interpretation, with special focus on long reads and strain level evaluation.
Evaluation Workshop of the first CAMI Challenge
The 3 day workshop will take place at the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge, UK in May 11-13, 2016.
Workshop Venue: https://www.newton.ac.uk/
In addition to discussing the results of the current challenge, future plans for the initiative will be outlined.
The agenda of the workshop is available here.
The CAMI Team
Dear metagenome method developers,
we are happy to announce the first evaluation results of the CAMI challenge. Check out https://data.cami-challenge.org/analyse to browse the first evaluation results for assembly, binning and profiling.
We are currently working on combined visualizations for the binning and profiling evaluation metrics. We will also publish more metrics for the profiling tools soon, so check the web site frequently for updates in the coming weeks.
